NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING AND A PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VINEYARD TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION

Public Notice is hereby given that the Vineyard Town Planning Commission will hold a regular meeting and a public hearing on October 21, 2009, starting at 7:00 PM, in the Vineyard Town Hall; 240 East Gammon Road, Vineyard, Utah. The agenda will consist of the following:

1. CALL TO ORDER

4. COUNCIL UPDATE: Councilmember Liaison Norman Holdaway
5. BUSINESS ITEMS:
5.1 Public Hearing; 7 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter: CU-09-03 – Garner Construction and Excavation, 342 West 255 South, Orem, Utah 84058, is requesting a Conditional Use Permit for a soil mixing and composting facility in the Industrial (I-1) Zoning District. The property is located at approximately 200 West 1350 North, Lot 1in the Geneva Park West Subdivision.
5.2 Public Hearing; 7 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter: CU-09-04 – Mark Wadsworth of Hadsworth, LLC, 90 North 1380 West, Orem, Utah 84057, is requesting a Conditional Use Permit for a furniture, cabinetry, and millwork manufacturing facility in the Industrial (I-1) Zoning District. The property is located at 331 East 1750 North, Lot 11in the Eastlake at Geneva Industrial Business Park, Phase 1.
5.3 Discussion and Action: DR-09-03 – Mark Wadsworth of Hadsworth, LLC, 90 North 1380 West, Orem, Utah 84057, is requesting site plan approval for a furniture, cabinetry, and millwork manufacturing facility in the Industrial (I-1) Zoning District. The property is located on the west of the southwest corner of 1750 North and 400 East in the Eastlake at Geneva Industrial Business Park, Lot 11.
5.4 Discussion: ECONOMIC INCENTIVES – The Planning Commission will discuss possible incentives for economic development within the town.

NOTE: “Open Session” is defined as time set aside for citizens to express their views. Each speaker is limited to three minutes. Because of the need for proper public notice, immediate action will not be taken in the Planning Commission Meeting. If action is necessary, the item will be listed on a following agenda, however, the Planning Commission may elect to discuss the item if it is an immediate matter of concern.
The Planning Commission may vote to go into closed executive session pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-5.
The Public is invited to participate in all Town Planning Commission meetings. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting should notify the Town Clerk at least 24 hours ahead of time by calling (801) 226-1929.
