Vineyard is a Better Place for You!

We’re fast approaching explosive growth and are
central to everything . . . See why we love our town, our view and our community!

Town of Vineyard

Located in the heart of Utah County, Utah, the Town of Vineyard is nestled between Orem City and Utah Lake. Home of the former Geneva Steel Plant, Vineyard has room for you and your company! The plant has been disassembled and property will soon be available for your retail store, office building, factory, warehouse, or restaurant. We believe Vineyard is an ideal location! The existing light industrial companies take advantage of the Union Pacific Rail Line running through our town, and with the Salt Lake International Airport a short 45 minute drive away, it’s an ideal location even for international companies. Even though Vineyard has been a rural community for many years, it has always been close to countless city amenities neighboring cities are Lindon, Provo, and Orem. Commuter Rail with a substation is also planned for our town!

Setting and Climate

The most striking geographical features of Vineyard are the Wasatch Mountains to the east and Utah Lake, the state’s largest fresh-water lake, to the west. With some rising over 11,000 feet, Utah Mountains receive heavy snowfall which feeds the rivers and creeks that flow into the lake. Vineyard is within driving distance to 14 world class ski resorts, five national parks, seven national monuments, two national recreation areas, six national forests, and hundreds of thousands of acres of diverse terrain for any and all outdoor activities. Utah is the home to NBA’s Utah Jazz and Professional Soccer’s ReAL Salt Lake. Many restaurants in the area offer a variety of choices ranging from fine French cuisine to open air mountain cafes.

The climate for Vineyard is moderate. There are approximately 10 to 20 inches of snow each year with much more in the mountain areas. Average rainfall is 16 inches per year and the average temperature ranges from 21 degrees in January to 83 degrees in July.
