Community Development

For many years, Vineyard was a rural community and that heritage is still important to current residents. While the small town of Vineyard is on the threshold of change and growth, the residents have a goal to balance the rural community feel with the anticipated development of the area. The Town’s mission statement as defined in the current Master Plan is:

“To maintain the integrity and quality of rural living in a well-planned, well-organized fashion so as to safeguard a peaceful, independent, beautifully kept, livable community.”

The Community Development page is designed to be helpful to those who are looking for a new place to live and those who are hoping to develop new places to live in our community. Please check back in the near future as we are constantly updating our site.
