Utah County Clerk Bryan Thompson confirmed that some Republican ballots were mailed to non-Republican voters. The Utah County Elections office is working diligently and trying to determine the scope of the problem. Their office will be mailing out informational postcards to those affected.

If you received a ballot and are an unaffiliated voter you may disregard the Republican/3rd Congressional portion of the ballot.

If you are registered with another party you must contact the county offices at 801.851.8128. If you would like to vote and affiliate as a Republican you can bring your ballot to the Voter Service Center on Primary Election Day, August 15, 2017 at the Vineyard Offices, 125 South Main Street. For more questions you may contact the Utah County Elections office.

Vineyard will be holding a Primary Election to nominate two candidates for Mayor.  The Primary Election will officially end on August 15 at 8:00 PM. Please make sure ballots are postmarked by August 14 or dropped off at the voter service center.
